  • Abstract
    This paper presents an efficient grid service discovery approach based on clustering the service ontology. First, the service ontologies of the Grid services are clustered based on semantic similarity of the service ontology. Second, a simple semantic based discovery matchmaking algorithm is used to search the registry. Clustering of these service ontologies would prune the search space for the discovery algorithm to search. The result shows that the time taken to search after using the clustering approach is considerably less. Hence this approach increases the efficiency of the discovery algorithm
