Abstract
In this article, more accurate formulations for the TM01 and TM10 resonant frequencies of dual frequency arrow-shaped compact microstrip antenna are presented. These formulations, which are obtained via fine tuning on the previously published formulations in the literature, are compared with other formulations and results obtained by theoretical analyses. The calculations were carried out on 28 antennas with a range of different dimensions built on various substrates. It is shown that our formulas presented in this paper provide more accurate results with respect to the theoretical analyses previously published in the literature.
