Abstract :
This paper is focused on the atmospheric turbulence effect and its influence on the laser beam passing through the turbulent environment. Effect of the beam wander is investigated in the details. The distribution of optical intensity of He-Ne laser with Gaussian beam distribution is recorded for six different volumes of the atmospheric turbulence. Motion histograms of optical intensity peaks are elaborated. The dependence of relative variance of laser beam motion on the relative variance of optical intensity is presented in the work.
