Abstract :
In the paper, we combine game theory and multiuser detection to propose an efficient power control algorithm, which both the transmitter power and receiver filter coefficients need updating. We show that the proposed algorithm converges to a fixed-point power vector where all the users satisfy their SINR-based QoS requirements and the linear receiver filter converges to the minimum mean squared error (MMSE) multiuser detector. Moreover, the simulation results show that the transmitted powers required for this joint algorithm are much less than those needed for the game model with pricing on condition that the same SINR is obtained
