Abstract :
In this paper, a dual-polarized microstrip array antenna with simple feeding network is proposed. The antenna consists of a single low cost substrate suspended over metallic ground plate. The dual polarization performance was achieved by means of smart combination of two single polarized antennas. A prototype of the antenna was manufactured and the results obtained by measurements and simulations were compared with very good agreement.
