Abstract :
Summary form only given. InnovaTek is developing a family of products for surface decontamination using nonequilibrium corona plasma technology. The products are designed to be portable and applicable for a wide range of both chemical and biological contaminants. Each device generates a corona discharge in air creating active species that react with surface contaminants and eradicate them. This technology is being developed under a contract with the Department of Defense for battlefield destruction of chemical and biological agents. However, our products are also being developed for a range of commercial applications, including health care, pharmaceutical, food safety, and emergency response decontamination needs.
