Abstract :
Frequency Selective Harmonic Coding (FSHC) is a speech analysis/synthesis technique developed for low bit rate speech coding applications. This technique exploits an auditory perception model to extract only a portion of the speech spectrum for quantization. This paper describes the quantization of the compressed spectrum using vector quantization
