Abstract :
In today´s extremely complex hardware of embedded systems, many embedded systems have a high speed application processor(s) and FPGA(s). Most of them have a soft processor inside the FPGA to govern the hardware tasks and algorithmic decision making which does not have a much computation power. The processor used separately outside the FPGA which runs the users software application has a very high computational power with respect to FPGA processor. This paper describes a flexible XML based low overhead communication system which has the capability of RPC(Remote procedure call) for task oriented applications.
