Abstract :
Evaluating electromagnetic behavior of a system over a broad frequency range is a crucial issue in many electromagnetic engineering problems. Deriving samples of the desired observable from point-by-point frequency-domain computations at uniform intervals may be prohibitively time consuming for highly resonant structures. This paper overviews representative model- and data-driven methods and related techniques aimed at efficient generation of wide-band data from frequency-domain full-wave Method-of-Moments (MoM) simulations. The impedance matrix interpolation technique, asymptotic waveform evaluation, Cauchy´s method and vector fitting are outlined.
