Abstract :
Summary form only given. Considers plasmas produced by the action of a high-intensity (more than 10 to the power of 16 Watt per centimeter squared) ultrashort-pulse (less than 10 to the power of -12 second) laser radiation on a solid target. In the case of the laser-produced plasmas one has to do with stabilities (of atoms and nuclei), as well as with unstabilities, i.e. collective processes at all stages of laser-produced plasma development. The collective processes play the decisive role in the laser-produced plasmas. This is the reason for representation of plasma of the sort as a quantum object. The laser-produced plasma is determined by the presence of electronic spin. In this case the electronic spin dictates the statistics, i.e. the collective nature of the processes. Hence follows the linkage between the concept or collective processes, i.e. instabilities involved in the plasma theory, and the concept of pure ensembles in use in the quantum mechanics. Here arises the concept of spin plasma. The essence of our model for transformation of energy of laser radiation incident on the target into the energy which gives rise to nuclear transformations in the target material is outlined. The mechanism of superstrong magnetic field energy transformation into the energy of atomic and nuclear systems excitation in a laser-produced plasma are studied. It is demonstrated that the transformation of such fields by atomic structures leads to the generation of magnetic fields in an atom, which destroy the internal structure of low-lying electronic shells and give rise to the wave collapse, or "nucleation", of the fields with subsequent strong action on nuclei.
