Abstract :
This paper attempts to identify high gene density locations within the five chromosomes of the model plant, Arabidopsis thaliana, through the use of multiresolution wavelet denoising technique. Results indicate that wavelet denoised G+C content help revealing the boundaries of isochores in chromosome level, and the boundaries between coding and non-coding regions in gene level at adjustable resolution
