Abstract :
Design rules for recyclability depend on the capabilities of recycling technology as well as legal requirements governing goals and recycling processes. To define such rules the producers of electric devices must try to determine the trends. This requires co-operation with technologists, raw material suppliers, and authorities. The implementation of such rules is a task of high priority, since the benefits of design for recyclability become effective only after years of use
