On a modified transmission line type antenna

Through analysis of a modified transmission type antenna, the authors found that this antenna has interesting futures such that input impedance and gain of the modified transmission line antenna can be determined independently by choosing an appropriate antenna configuration. The authors introduce three kinds of modified transmission line type loop antenna for the purpose of HF communication. One is a simple and fundamental type of modified transmission line type loop antenna, the others are practical modified transmission line loop antennas with improved impedance and gain characteristics. Though the configuration of the proposed antenna is not simple, it is believed that this antenna will introduce new concepts on wire antenna design
