Abstract
In this paper, we first present the concept of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy probabilistic set (IvIFPS), which is determined by two defining functions that indicate the membership interval and nonmembership interval of an element to a set of objects, with respect paid to the randomness of choosing them. Moreover, some important properties, moments and correlation coefficient of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy probabilistic sets are also be studied, which can be possibly applied to medical diagnosis, pattern recognition and artificial intelligence areas.
