Abstract :
The mobile Internet services require context-awareness and user-segment-awareness to improve usability and quality of content. The author proposes a time zone index, which aims to identify which time zones in a day the users use for a particular mobile service. The author attempts to identify user clusters with this index and examine loyalty in each cluster. From observation, the proposed method effectively partitions the users into three groups, the strong loyal users, the average users and the weak loyal users.
