Abstract

This paper mainly studies the feasibility and methods of the integration technology of Geographical Information System (GIS) and Management Information System (MIS). The discussion is focused on the application of Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), Object Linking Embedding (OLE), ActiveX and the integrated solution of spatial data and attribute data. Then in view of the application of the "Coal Resources Management System", we brings forward the resolving scheme based on the integration technology of GIS and MIS, the results demonstrate that our scheme is reliable and acceptable, which realized the unified operation of picture, text and table of coal resources information.
