Abstract :
The video server is an essential component in a full service, broadband delivery network. The server must be capable of sourcing video, audio, still graphics, text, interactive scripts and general data in a low latency, interactive environment. For the general case there are eight interfaces to such a device. The article discusses each interface in relation to other components in the broadband system
