Abstract
We will review the title development process for consumer interactive multimedia. Our goal is to outline the process of title creation, and give an understanding of the problems and issues faced by application designers and producers. We think an important new type of interactivity will be emerging with the advent of networked architectures for entertainment. This will demand the adoption of new development strategies. We will discuss some of the anticipated difficulties in extending CD-based title design to networked systems
