Abstract :
Electrical characterization was performed to investigate charge transport through alkane-mono and dithiol self-assembled monolayers molecular electronic devices. From the statistical analysis of the electrical transport properties on the mass-fabricated molecular devices, we found that the transport decay coefficient beta value of dithiol devices is lower than that of monothiol devices. This discrepancy results from the difference of chemical structure of them.
