Abstract :
The electrical and Theological properties of epoxy- clay composites based on organically modified/unmodified boehmite and unmodified montmorillonite has been explored. A comparison between sonicated and unsonicated samples has been carried out using standard electrical breakdown and couette Theology techniques. An increase in breakdown strength was seen for all sonicated samples which correlates with lower viscosity readings compared to that of unsonicated samples.
