Abstract :
The major advantage of the soft magnetic composite (SMC) material is to be able to manufacture electrical machines by the highly matured powder metallurgical technology at low cost. This paper presents our extensive studies on the measurement and modeling of magnetic properties of SMC materials and novel machine topologies of 3D fluxes.
