Abstract
In order to improve the weaker coupling capability between the two sets of stator windings of brushless doubly-fed machine (BDFM) and the lower power density, the hybrid rotor is put forward based on common salient pole reluctance rotor. The best project can be obtained through the determination of pole-arc factor, the width and length of slot, the connecting ways of conductors and so on. Furthermore, the method of FEA is adopted to analyze the magnetic field of hybrid rotor BDFM. The result shows that hybrid rotor can improve the coupling capability and power density and performance effectively.
