  • Abstract
    Using the failure criterion of concrete in biaxial stress state and the opinion of stress diffusion phenomenon of concrete strut; considering the effects of shear-span ratio, span-depth ratio, and web reinforcement, the formulas for predicting the shear capacity of deep flexural members are established. Through simplification, the suggested formulas are also given, and the concrete tension strength is used as the concrete strength design index in the suggested equations, the results of suggested equations show a good agreement with those of tested.
