  • Abstract
Urban infrastructure data constitutes an important part of urban geographic information. Relying on GIS technology and the urban infrastructure data, and giving consideration to the characteristics of the urban infrastructure, we can build a common data model, namely URIOCOM (Urban-Infrastructure-Oriented Common Model) to achieve accurate and efficient modeling and analysis of the urban infrastructure. The author provides an introduction to URIOCOM built according to the metadata standard for urban infrastructure and expounds on how to build a loose coupling geometrical-logical network based on the spatial distribution of logical network models and geometrical network models and their logical correlation. The author also analyzes core technologies such as the principles of establishing the Urban-Infrastructure-Oriented rule base. URIOCOM can effectively and expeditiously express municipal information, and therefore meet the needs for the sharing of urban infrastructure data, interoperation, and streamlined management of infrastructure parts.
