            Abstract : 
This paper designs a type of barcode beacon without power based on barcode technology, which represents certain location information of the tunnel. Using laser sensor´s data, the barcode beacon is recognized and more accurate location of the scraper is gotten. With the help of the identification of barcode beacons and the dead reckoning method, the function of precision positioning in underground mining is realized. The precision positioning method based on the barcode beacon works well on the simulating scraper.
