Abstract :
This paper describes a new design solution for a low cost and highly integrated radio equipment intended to be used in point to point radio links operating in the 57 ÷ 59 GHz frequency band according to ETSI standard EN 300 408. This standard is consistent with the use of the Time Division Duplex (TDD) system that allows for hardware design cost-effective RF Transceiver architectures. The whole design implementation is presented together with system test results.
