Abstract :
Based on the combination of space-time coding and iterative multiuser detection, this paper proposes a new architecture for DS-CDMA systems over frequency-selective channels. A cyclic prefix is also incorporated in the data transmission to cancel the ISI. The novelty of the paper is mainly related to an unexplored combination of known ingredients. To illustrate the practical implementation of this architecture an analysis of complexity is also presented.
