Abstract
The operation of strip lines for susceptibility testing inside a shielded enclosure can cause large errors because of room resonances. The repercussion of these resonances upon the field inside the strip line is investigated. The quality of automatic field strength control at a reference point inside the line is checked for various arrangements of small ferrite and pyramid absorbers close to the waveguide structure. Satisfactory performance is obtained up to 400 MHz with a simple solution at low cost
