            Abstract : 
A Vision measurement system is constructed for the Seal Packing collar, and the mathematical morphology is used in Edge Detecting process because of the image which obtained through the Telecentric lens in the system has a clear feature of bimodal. Then the algorithm for Edge Detecting and system calibration has no more complex structure based on the Binary image characteristic, furthermore, the feature of image Column diagram takes it easy as the threshold is getting. As the result of the image processing, the diameters of the ring workpiece calculated by the algorithm after the processes, which include the system calibration, coordinate conversion and the least squares, have been completed, and the concentricity is also got at the same time. At last, the system´s better precision has been certified by the all results through a testing.
