Abstract :
In this paper, the design and implementation of a harmonic injection pulsewidth modulation (HIPWM) inverter for three-phase uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS) to improve the DC bus voltage conversion factor is presented. A new control configuration with an instantaneous voltage feedback and average voltage feedback for the three-phase HIPWM inverter is proposed to obtain good static and dynamic performances. Three regulators, denoted ACR, DCR and DCB, are designed for the instantaneous voltage feedback, the averaged voltage feedback and cancelling the DC bias current in the isolation transformer, respectively. Finally, the proposed control configuration is verified both by simulation and experimental results in a SIMNON based computer program and a laboratory prototype system
