Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a novel image registration approach. This approach consists of three sequential steps : 1) segmentation process using watershed method, 2) point correspondence using an artificial immune system and 3) finally, least mean square minimization technique is used to find the transformation that align the two images. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach we compare it with a region based optical flow estimation algorithm.
