Abstract
Rapid growth of information technology has been enhancing the importance of flat panel display. Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) are of considerable interest owing to their attractive characteristics: high luminous efficiency, color, low drive voltage and fast speed. After a brief overview of the device construction and operating principles in this presentation, a review will be presented on our recent progress in OLEDs. Particular attention is paid to interface engineering that is of paramount importance to modify the chemical and electronic structure of the interface and create various novel OLEDs.
