In order to solve the low computing speed and much system overhead problems of the embedded system-based Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) algorithm applications, improve the performance of ECC algorithm, this paper analyzes the bottlenecks that impact ECC algorithm performance and proposes reasonable improvement scheme Specifically, this paper proposes pseudo-code description of improved Binary Representations (BR) algorithm, analyzes optimal value of 2k in improved BR algorithm, and proposes improvement strategy of large number square algorithm. The obvious improvement was shown by test results.
