Abstract
This paper investigates the Bit Error Probability (BEP) performance of a deterministic Gaussian uncorrelated scattering (DGUS) fading channel simulator. A novel and tractable approximation expression is derived, which is the BEP of QPSK over DGUS fading channel. Simulation results for the BEP are presented, by using a typical stochastic procedure Monte Carlo method (MCM) for the computation of the parameters of simulation. Computer simulation verifies the effectiveness of the method. Moreover, The latter is proved that a limited number of sinusoids is also feasible for a lower bound complexity simulators. The Theoretical results and experimental results holds well for the different mobile fading environment-Typical Urban, Bad Urban, and Hilly Terrain.
