Abstract
Field oriented induction motor drive systems require a fast and precise stator current control. This paper proposes a neurocontroller based current control with the desired characteristics. The controller is based on one-step ahead control strategy using input voltage-output current model of induction motors. A neural network is used to identify the inverse dynamics (output-input relationship) which is necessary to implement the controller. Simulation results of induction motor current control are presented
