Interference nature of bands on dynamic spectra of solar radio bursts

Abstract :
On the basis of theory of electromagnetic wave radiation the formulas have been obtained for calculation of frequency of bands on dynamic spectra of solar radio emission. It has been found that the observed frequency of bands and intervals between them coincide with high exactness and the analytically calculated values. Numerical equality of frequencies is a validation of their interference origin related to the propagation of radio waves in plasma, but not with the mechanism of generation of radiation in the prime source of a burst.
