Abstract
This paper presents the experience of Makerere University in developing and piloting an Online Student Evaluation of Teaching System. The pilot revealed that On-Line Student Evaluation of Teaching can go a long way in enhancing the productivity of the Student Evaluation of Teaching Process if the implementation is carefully planned and executed. Consultation and involvement of key stakeholders at every stage of the system implementation is paramount. Training of the users is equally important. Ensuring that the system has correct primary data for Student Evaluation of Teaching is key to successful implementation of an Online Student Evaluation of Teaching System.
