Abstract
This paper explores the viability and feasibility of using various virtual networking for personal networks (PNs). The virtual personal overlay network (VPON) concept is addressed and a comparison of several solutions to provide remote connectivity to personal nodes is reported. This is conducted for user and service provider provisioned based VPONs in terms of scalability, management complexity, node capacity and trust relationships
