Abstract :
Any teaching learning process must be designed to suit the needs of all and must consider all types of learners including people with disabilities. One of the major learning disabilities found related to learners is the problem of reading which in turn affects the performance in mathematical domain. Solving math word problems is highly essential for learning the concepts of day to day activities. Training is an ideal remedy for helping people with learning disabilities. Also, estimating the difficulty level of questions and identifying the suitable questions of appropriate grade level are important tasks of training. This paper focuses on a novel application of Naïve Bayes Classifier in classifying math word problems based on readability of the question.
