My Desk — An online tool for supporting studio interactions

This paper presents the design of an online tool `My Desk´ to implement a blended learning system in a studio learning environment. My Desk consists of user interfaces for both the professors and the students. My Desk aims to facilitate the faculty-student interactions for studio courses. The paper proposes that the implementation of My Desk would enhance student learning, provide targeted instruction to individual students, serve a larger group of students than a traditional studio, and not increase faculty workload.
