Abstract
Using a quasi-static approximation, the selective properties of two-resonator filters based on hairpin resonators with irregular stub elements are investigated. The obtained results and good agreement between the theory and experiment allow us to determine the conductor pattern of a filter with given performance using parametrical synthesis. The possibility of increasing significantly the selectivity of microstrip filters by means of cascade connecting two-resonator sections through a chip amplifier is shown
