Abstract :
The authors consider with the development of high-frequency switched-capacitor filters for implementation using CMOS technology. The development is focussed on the use of an amplifier with complementary (nondifferential) inputs in which the DC voltage levels at the two inputs and at the output are all substantially different, and which is thought to allow the closest approach to the maximum theoretical switching frequency for the technology. In the resulting circuits, the conventional boundaries between the amplifier and the remainder of the SC circuit become less distinct and the integrator has to be treated as the basic unit. Filter examples are presented.<>
