Abstract
This paper presents a control strategy for shunt power line conditioner with inductive energy storage. The proposed strategy has two decoupled AC control loops and one DC control loop. The AC control loops are analyzed under the variable structure approach. Equations to obtain the circuit parameters are given as guidelines for the design. Finally, simulation is presented as a means of demonstrating the active conditioner dynamic performance
