Abstract
This paper addresses the problem of soft equalization and detection of coded MIMO symbols transmitted over a frequency selective fading channel. We develop a low-complexity MMSE-based approach where both interference cancellation and computation of the soft information are performed in a successive fashion. Monte-Carlo simulations demonstrate attractive performance even under the presence of imprecise channel state information (CSI) at the receiver.
