Abstract :
Summary form only given. We purport to substantially expand the arsenal of decay control, whether measurement-like (i.e., accompanied by dephasing) or fully coherent. We derive a universal form of the decay rate of unstable states into any reservoir (continuum), modified by weak perturbations with arbitrary time dependence.
