Study on the Layout Planning of Logistics Park Using SLP

Logistics park is a product of modem Logistics. One of the most important and fundamental problems about logistics park is the planning of logistics park. The reasonable layout planning of logistics park would effectively lower the work intensity and difficulty of internal logistics, which also would improve the competitive ability of enterprise. The influence of logistics sequence and amount of logistics indirectly reflected in logistics cost and operation efficiency. This paper introduced the layout planning decision of functional region in the logistics park using SLP and evaluated the effect of layout by a concrete example. The principle fundamental of SLP method and its application on the logistics park of Xisai harbor in Huzhou was introduced. The results showed that the SLP method had high practical value and actual meaning for the layout planning of Logistics Park.
