Abstract :
During designing the high-resolution camera driver on Windows CE OS, it is a critical issue for the resource limited embedded environment that how to improve the data transfer rate, and make full use of the limited memory resources of Windows CE. This paper realized the 4 million CMOS camera driver on the PXA270 development platform by using Quick Capture Technology, with the data transmission of DMA Descriptor Chain and double-RAM strategy, and provided a functional verification and performance analysis. The results shows good stability and performance, and the results of text recognition show that the accuracy at least 17.5 percent enhancement compared to the image captured by the low-pixel camera.
