Abstract :
The efficiency of MW power transmission from the end of a coaxial waveguide to a biologically active point (BAP) is considered. The distribution of the power in biological tissue (BT) irradiated by UHF electromagnetic radiation when the end of the coaxial irradiator is in close contact with the surface of the BAP is measured. It is shown that under such conditions 50% of the irradiated power is absorbed in a BT layer of thickness 0.5 mm and 90% in a 1 mm layer
