Abstract :
The results of the researches directed on improvement of quality´s indicators of RED at the expense of using RTD in the mixer of radio signals are considered in the report. At an identical operating mode and size of conversion losses, power of the higher harmonics and combinational components in a spectrum of an output signal of the mixer on the basis of the resonant-tunneling diode (RTD) is lesser, than at the same mixer on Schottky diode.
