Abstract
With the consideration of the role of top managers in corporate decision, this paper explores the impact of top managers on corporate social performance. The multiple linear regression of corporate social performance on top managers´ characteristics shows that there is a significant negative relationship between the education level and corporate social performance in investor both for chief executive officer (CEO) and top management team (TMT), and other significant relationships are not found.
